This is so WRONG!!!!!!!

I understand when they make a movie about a book, it's seldom EXACTLY like the book. However, most the time they TRY to keep to it. Take Christy and Little House, sure they got away from the books toward the end, but it started pretty close to them.
Now I LOVED the "Love Comes Softly" series. The first movie was pretty close to the book. The only difference is in the book Missie is only 2, in the movie she's 9. I had no problem with that considering the fact that there would be more of a story line with an older girl. However, with each book/movie they are going WAY off.....

"Love's Unending Legacy" which will be aired April 19 at 9 PM on Hallmark is WAY OFF base.... Here's what the Hallmark channel site said about it.......
Love's Unending Legacy

The screen version of the acclaimed fiction series “Love Comes Softly” continues. Two years have passed since the tragic death of Missie LaHaye's husband Willie. Ultimately unable to work the land on her own, Missie (Erin Cottrell) and son Maddie leave Tettsford Junction for the security of her father's ranch and the hope of a new life. New adventures await as Missie takes in reluctant orphan Belinda (Holliston Coleman) who hides a secret. A new home also brings the possibility of romance… if Missie can manage to put the past behind her. Dale Midkiff and Victor Browne also star in this touching story of faith and love.

Okay, I have a HUGE problem with this.... ONE this book is about Marty discovering she's pregnant with Belinda..... She's NOT AN ORPHAN.. And second. With "Love's Abiding Joy" it leaves Missie and Willie's life, and moves on to Belinda, which the series concludes with Belinda's life.

I don't see where they can even consider this movie "based on the book". It's a WHOLE different story altogether.
Why do they have to ruin good books? Yes, I'll watch it, but to me it won't be based on the book. I'll just consider it a movie with the same title as the book.

That's a bummer. It's the reason I rarely watch movies based on books I've already read.
