THIS IS WAR!!!!!!!!!!

Back in July 2004 I had my garage fixed. When the roof was tore off a HUGE nest of carpenter ants were discovered. They were sprayed and I was told that the problem had been taken care of. I fought those little boogers for a few weeks afterwards. It seemed as though some strays found their way into my house, but they went away after awhile.. Well...... They've invaded my house again. As I'm typing this, I'm watching these bugs climb up my wall, and the bottom of my shoes are a very good weapon for hand to hand combat. I've killed 10 of those stupid bugs in less than 5 minutes, and the bottom of my shoe is looking like a gruesome battleground. Does ANYONE know how to get rid of these stupid things for good? I kill them as I see them, but I'm afraid my house will fall apart if I'm not careful. If I put siding up, will that take care of them? Someone...Anyone...... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am declaring war against these invaders and I need HELP.....
