I went out and put my Christmas shopping money on a prepaid visa card to use online. I bought some gifts off Ebay, and then attempted for 2 days to pay for those items. I then found out today, that Paypal NO LONGER accepts prepaid credit cards. It would've been nice if they had TOLD me. So I have contacted all 6 sellers and explained my situation, and now I'm waiting for their answers and HOPEFULLY suggestions.
I also discovered that Amazon has stopped accepting them as well. Why are they not accepting prepaid cards?? Don't they realize that's the safest way to pay? I'm so frustrated I can scream.
I'm starting to think that eBay no longer wants my business since they did away with check and money order options.

Yes, I do hear that scream. Tough situation you've got. I hope your sellers have mercy on you and work with you.
I also didn't realize they did away with check and money order options. I thought that was the sellers' decision. Ahhh...but since eBay OWNS Paypal, maybe they want Paypal used exclusively so they can collect the fees. They are going to lose customers!
Wow. I didn't know they did away with checks also.
I think there may be a way to set up your Paypal account to automatically withdraw the funds from your bank account, which would be similar to a debit card I guess.
