Depression stinks..

I do believe that the best line in any movie ever made is from Bambi.... "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."
Lois, Marlo (another coworker) and I went out to eat Friday night. Well, we usually take only one vehicle and ride together. Well, Lois, for some reason, drove herself. I decided to ride with Marlo....
After we left the resteraunt,Marlo and I sat in her car and talked for a while... Then right before I left she told me something that totally BLEW my mind. I was actually speechless on how to answer. She said.. I'm summarizing here.....
"You are too uptight, too high strung, and way too religious. Don't expect any man to fall madly in love with you. And if by some miracle you do find someone, he'll probably cheat on you because he won't want to wait till you're married."

To say I was taken by surprise would be the major understatement of the year.
I met Lois at Ihop Sat morning, and told her what Marlo said. She was speechless as well. She told me, "When you said 'you won't believe what Marlo said to me last night', I thought she was talking about me behind my back. I never would have dreamed she would say something that rude and inconsiderate to your face."

When your with friends, you're SUPPOSED to walk away feeling better than you did when you arrived. NOT the other way around. I've been so depressed since Friday night, and the rain doesn't help.

What was she thinking????????
