Yesterday morning I woke up with a "strange" sore throat. It didn't hurt just felt really dry. Late afternoon/early evening a cough started. Last night I was coughing so hard I thought my lungs were going to explode.
I was SUPPOSED to have had lunch with Aunt Carol and Carrie, but I didn't want to pass on whatever I have. So, I first called the Dr and made an appointment for this afternoon, and then called Carol to let her know...
Went to the Dr...Discovered several things... Had a fever, lost some weight, and I have walking pneumonia.. Yep, so I am SOOOO glad I didn't go today. I would've felt HORRIBLE if I passed this on.
So, prayers for a SPEEDY recovery would be very appreciative. Now, I'll be living in bed for a few days. Good thing I have a portable dvd player I can hook up and watch while laying in bed.

Ooh. Sorry you missed lunch, but not sorry you didn't get a chance to pass that on. Jared caught walking pneumonia as a baby from a relative and he never really recovered (as in he was a fat baby and after he got it, he lost a lot of weight and has been scrawny ever since!)

I do feel better the meds are working. I haven't coughed yet today, which in itself is a good sign. My throat still hurts, woke up this morning with a very bitter taste in my mouth from the cough syrup that was prescribed, and I sound like a bull frog... Other than that, I feel fine. Hmmmmmm. If Jared lost weight, MAYBE........ ;)
